March came and flew by in a complete blur. Partly because of the distinct lack of sleep going on here, and partly due to the surprise visit at the beginning of the month from Aunty G! Nothing quite like the shock when you’ve been surviving on a few hours sleep a night to walk downstairs and find your sister, who is supposed to be at home in Australia, standing in your living room! We had a crazy couple of weeks, filled with the good stuff, good food and good fun. Aunty G became bedtime extraordinary and wayyyy to much takeaway was eaten. Couldn’t have asked for a better couple of weeks to brighten a sleep deprived, very rainy March.
Our photos this month were taken on a trip to the beach with my family, it was a bit of a gloomy day but no rain, which was a rarity this March.
A girls fish and chips trip (boys fast asleep)
Tummy time with little G (those cheeks!)
A new ballet outfit from Grandma
A puppet show by little D
This month I am loving having Aunty G to stay, eating too much takeaway, enjoying fish and chips with both boys asleep (winning!) whole family trips to the beach, little G’s bedside cot, pinning for the new extension, face masks and giggles with aunty G and Mr H, a first mother’s day as mummy to 3 with a beautiful necklace, breakfast and scooting trip on the Hoe
Mr H is loving singing the chicken tikka buna song, eating far too much takeaway with aunty G, doing the assault course with little D at the farm, working too hard
Little D is loving having aunty G to do bath and bedtime stories, loads of treats from Aunty G, Paw Patrol figurines, collecting Trolls and Paw Patrol albums for her sticker book, riding a pony at the farm, writing her own name! Her giant stuffed Poppy Troll from aunty G
Little F is loving playing with new cars from Grandma and Aunty G, hand feeding the goats at the farm, saying ‘wow’ and ‘wheeeeee’, saying thank you and good night, cleaning his teeth and giggling, dancing to Trolls music, playing in the garden sandpit
Little G is loving all the cuddles, listening to white noise at night time, giving little smiles, growing like a weed!
